Some Changes...(Hang on, here we go)!

Yesterday was Ash Wednesday.  The first official day of Lent.  Now, I am NOT Catholic.  But I am married to someone who once was, and HE (not God, DANIEL) is of the belief that you are suppose to give things up for Lent.  He also believes we have to eat Fish on Fridays....I really think this is because he likes it and I won't cook it!  But the whole Lent thing is an inpass at our house.  So I decided to make a change.  I chose to be a Lent giver-upper!  So I sat down and made a list of the stuff I want to CHANGE! 
First things first...CLUTTER...I hate it...it seeps in and takes over everything.  Literally.  So I am trying the 40 Bags in 40 Days challenge.
Second...FAST FOOD...it, like clutter, has creeped into my life.  And has caused a rather yucky bloat (okay, it is really just FAT) to settle on my family.  So I am changing that.  We are eating at home, not driving thru.
Third...is the BUDGET.  Ouch.  Yes, this one hurts a little.  The clutter and the fast food have cause the $$$ to become M.I.A.  So I am gonna work on the cash only policy...if I don't got cash then I don't get it.  Boohoo.  
And Last, but not least....the words I say.  Seems to me that I do pretty good on this one.  I don't usually say the "bad" ones.  But I do say a couple that don't sound so cute when repeated by my 3 and 6 year olds.   My personal favorite is 'Freakin'.  But when my beautiful little Maddie constructed the longest sentence know to mankind using the word 'freakin' about 100 times, and everyone looks at you, it is time to make a change.  So I am trying.

Well the blog has been up and running for a few months...what do you think???  I KNOW, I KNOW...I started and didn't go any further.  AAARRRRGGGG!  The story of MY LIFE!  So I am posting something.  Well this is it.  I will officially start BLOGGING (so I can be admired by my group of mommy peers)  as soon as this Competition is over.  SO expect a full report on Monday.  With Pics of my beautiful dancing princess.  She is gonna be the bad witch, you know! 

The Beginning

Well here it is... My blog!  After some photo hunting and some design challenges I am officially Blogging!  I really only did this because it looks so neat on my friends pages that I couldn't resist.  However, I am finding out this is NOT as easy as it looks.  And it takes a little time also!  So I am gonna try to impart my wonderful words of wisdom, my great stories of failures, and my darling wit of raising two princesses that I am sure will make everyone's life better...or funnier!  So laugh with me, cry with me, share your funnies too.  Because life is no fun unless you make it that way.  And who doesn't want that?
